Animation Demo Reel

This animation reel showcases a majority of my work in a variety of areas including: camera tracking/matchmove for TV and film using 3DEqualizer/Maya, 3D character animation in Maya, and effects simulations created using Houdini/ Maya. I also created the music for this reel.

3D Game Project Work

Doggo Unleashed!

A 3D Single Player Adventure/Open World game where players are a corgi tasked with saving the neighborhood from some dastardly raccoons!

This game started off as a college project and has been in development for the past two years. On initial builds I worked on models for dogs and squirrels, as well as animations (specifically the ones seen in this trailer), sound design and music composition. In the current iteration for the project, I've continued music/sound design, along with dialogue writing, 2D UI Art Assets, 3D prop modelling (dog toys, newspaper models for shredding, etc.), and assisted with general production work.

See more about the game here

Dirge

A 3D Networked Co-op game where two unlikely heroes band together to fight Plague, one of the Four Horsemen of the Apocalypse.

After a princess mistakenly summon's Death's henchman instead of Death himself, they are bound together in a fight for their lives, her kingdom, and his freedom.

I worked on 2D main menu art, as well as 2D character portraits.

I also modeled/rigged/animated the princess character, Death's henchman, and Plague (the main villain). Each character has idle, movement, death, revival, and 2 attack animations.

3D Modeling

3D Short Film: c. 1995

This animation was created as a student project as an attempt to get inside the mind of a computer as it faces technology far beyond its time. I 3D modeled/rendered the set geometry, including the computer, bookshelves, desk, cardboard boxes, door, and mouse. I also animated the office scenes, including the janitor shadow and door opening, and created sound effects.

Credit goes to Perrin Mercer for all computer mindspace animations/graphics.

2D Art/Animation

The Sun Guardian

A 2D sidescrolling platformer where the player is a spirit of a Sun Priestess, fighting to rebuild and protect her ruined temple from the ice spirits which surround it.

In this game, I designed concept art for the sun priestess character, along with all of her animations. I also designed the ice-reaper spirits, along with creating their movement/attack animations.

The Daylighting Society

Where are the Eyes, Speakfree, and Society Logos

Founded in 2016, the Daylighting Society is a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization dedicated to giving the public a voice in the surveillance state. They work to reveal surveillance, protect privacy through technology, and ensure that the public can speak out safely about issues that matter. For more about the society, see here.

I designed the society's main logo using Adobe Photoshop/Illustrator, along with promotional content and imagery used in the apps below.

Where Are the Eyes?

A mobile application where users mark surveillance cameras near their location, collaborating to build a map of physical surveillance.

I designed and created the image assets used in the application, along with the app logo.

I also produced the storefront logos and assets appearing in app advertisements.

Lastly, I developed art/imagery used in media and promotional content.

Speakfree

SpeakFree is a tool for jamming audio recording of conversations, and helping users keep their privacy in the physical world.

I designed the logo image used for the application, as well as store banners and promotional content.

BroFlow

This 2D mobile designed game focuses on the idea of: "some dudebros pull a prank that goes horribly wrong".

In this case, the dudebros chose to dump soap into a college fountain, creating chaos and flooding campus. The player navigates the dudebros on their mattress as they try to collect party supplies amidst the chaos.

I designed concept art for the dudebros, as well as animated each dudebro in a pixel art style. These animations included fist pumping, cheering, high fiving, and of course, paddling with deliberately poor paddling technique.

Credit goes to Emily Rauseo for creating the mattress asset, along with the fountain, main menu background, and title font.

The game can be played here

2D Short Film: And Then There Were Only Two

This animation was created in Photoshop, and tells the tale of two very determined pumpkins during "punkin chunkin" season. I created all digital art assets, as well as edited the sound effects and dialogue.

Credit goes to Perrin Mercer for providing the voice-overs for the pumpkins.

Code Poetry

This code generates haikus pulled from an old windows 95 manual, and was created for a code poetry project.
